We read the Crayon Box that Talked and made self-portraits. We watched video clips on how crayons are made and virtually saw all the fun activities at the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA.

We made vegetable prints using celery, okra, apples, potatos, and green peppers by dipping cut slices into tempera paint and pressing them on paper.
First graders in Mrs. McNeal's class learned the process of collage-making. They made collages with construction paper pieces that were cut or torn. In addition to these foxes we made turtle and pizza collages.
